Tim Poore is from the Fort Wayne area and will be joining us March 12th. "I have known Tim for over fifteen years, and I am very excited to have him join our team. The Cornerstone Landscape Group presents the 2011 Employee MVP Award
date: 1/06/12
info: Each year, TCLG recognizes an individual or individuals who are our Most Valuable Players based on their fulfillment of our company mission through three things:
1) They exemplified the hardwork, talent and loyalty admired by the company
2) They exceeded the expectations of our clients
3) They earned the respect of fellow teammates
Sam Collins, landscape management foreman, and Bob Caspar, landscape construction foreman, were the recipients of our 2011 MVP Award.
"Sam has been with the company nearly three years now. What most impresses me about Sam, and I said this last year, too, is his “can do” attitude. He’s a machine. You give him a task to do and he gets it done, and done well. It’s as simple as that. He doesn’t complain. He sets a good example for other people in the company, and he knows how to have some fun doing it – he’s got a good sense of humor. He is early to work everyday and takes time to be prepared for what the day holds," stated Tim Pancake, president.
"Bob has been with the company nearly six years now. Without a doubt, our company is better than it was six years ago, and Bob has been a key component of that improvement. Everyone here knows Bob sets high standards for himself and others. Sometimes that can be tough, but the fact is in today’s economy if you’re not growing and improving, if you’re not putting forth the best service and product, then clients will go elsewhere. Bob understands this and so I can never find fault in his strong pursuit of doing things the right way. In fact, I applaud it and I recognize his efforts with this award," says Tim Pancake, president.
Congratulations, Men. You have earned this. You are our MVP’s.

Graduate Landscape Architect Joins Company

“We are very excited to add this position to our company. We have experienced growth during a challenging economy, and this shows we are in a healthy position to add a significant member to our staff. During this time of growth, I personally reached my limits to effectively serve our clients and staff as well as they deserve, so adding another landscape architect to our company is an exciting and much needed move for us,” says Tim Pancake, president and landscape architect.
Tim Boswell was selected after a nearly six month long candidate search where over fifty candidates applied and more than twelve from all across the country were intensively interviewed. After a lengthy interview process, we have determined Tim is well suited to succeed with us in this position.
More on Tim Boswell to come in the near future. In the meantime, welcome aboard, Tim!
